8 DAY ASHANTI AND CENTRAL REGION TOUR OF GHANA


Day 1: Arrival at the airport and shuttle service transfer to your hotel

Day 2: Depart from Accra to Kumasi. Have launch and go to Palace museum and craft village to see the rich kente cloth, wood carvings and Adinkra textile

Day 3: Visit to the Manhyia Palace to know more about chieftaincy in the Ashanti Kingdom and their culture and exchange greetings with the chiefs and people in the Ashanti Kingdom.

Day 4: Depart from Kumasi to cape coast the capital of the central region of Ghana. Arrival at the castles of the central region. We tour the castle, slave’s dungeon and a walking tour of Elmina. Visit the fishermen’s market, the cape coast castle and the Kakum national park.

Day 5: After breakfast, visit the chiefs and people of Cape Coast.

Day 6: Visit Kakum park rain forest -an ecological tour to give you an insight into a tropical rain forest. Kakum is an inhabitant for numerous animals, including snakes of different species and butterfly. It will surprise you that you can also locate antelopes at Kakum Park. You will enjoy a walkway through trees at the Kakum Park.

Day 7: Visit the University of Cape Coast to interact with the students and share ideas. Return to Accra.
Day 8: Have breakfast, tour some parts of Accra, return to hotel and leave for the airport.

Seven (7) day Tour of the Greater Accra Region

Greater Accra Region is the gateway to Ghana, the capital city is Accra. Many lovely hotels, modern restaurants and night life in Accra are one to be remembered. When we talk of beaches, one can make mention of kokrobite, mighty beach, coco beach and bojo beach.

Day 1: Have breakfast and depart for Accra city tour. We visit the National museum to learn more about Africa, Ghana art and lectures.
We then proceed to the University of Ghana to the African studies centre to enjoy a performance of African Heritage.
